new build office building in chester
This project reached practical completion in December 2024. Working alongside Rubicon Garden Rooms, we provided consultation services on Building Regulations. The development is a high-specification office building with a timber frame construction, featuring extensive insulation, solar panels, and triple-glazed windows to maximise energy efficiency and comfort. Notably, the project achieved a negative score on the BREL report, underscoring its exceptional energy performance and positive environmental impact.

We are acting as Building Control consultants for Fastview360's new office building, developed to support the company’s growth and need for additional space. The building features a durable steel frame with metal cladding and incorporates a mezzanine level to optimise functionality. This modern design is tailored to meet the demands of a thriving business while ensuring full compliance with Building Regulations. With the steel frame and roof now complete, the project is progressing steadily towards the completion of a high-quality, purpose-built facility.

New garage/storage space in Shrewsbury
We are fulfilling the roles of Principal Designer and Building Control consultants for a private residential client constructing a new garage with a first-floor storage area. The design features a split level and a substantial retaining wall to facilitate vehicle access to the ground-floor garage, while also enabling pedestrian entry at a higher level directly from the dwelling. This project presents a particular challenge due to the retaining wall requirements, but the completed build will deliver valuable additional space for the client.

load-bearing wall removal and internal alterations in Malpas
We are appointed as Principal Designer and Building Control consultants for a private residential client expanding their property portfolio. The project involves the full refurbishment of a dated 1970s dwelling, transforming it into a modern, high-quality rental property designed to attract new tenants.
Key elements of the project include the removal of a load-bearing wall and installation of a universal steel beam, the fitting of fire-rated doors throughout the property, and the installation of a new sewage treatment tank.
